Marguerite Regan, Ph.D. and her husband David Carter are pleased to announce the arrival of their son Tamal Kaviraj, on November 30, 2007.  Regan is assistant professor of English at Newman.

Congratulations to Doris (former Newman teacher and counselor) and Tom Pirotte on their 60th Wedding Anniversary.  They celebrated with a private family celebration which included their five children and other family members.

Fr. Joseph Bahr, pastor of St. Dominic, Garden City and St. Stanislaus, Ingalls died on Dec. 19, 2007.  He was 73.  He is the brother of seven alumni.  His survivors include two brothers and seven sisters, four of them are ASC's.

Announcing the Marriage of Alisha Johnson to John "Bo" Robert Thompson, III.  Alisha is currently working toward a degree in Social Work at Newman University.

Randy Smith was named Newman University's new director of athletics.  Dr. Smith was formerly dean of academic affairs at National American University.  He also worked in a variety of positions for 26 years at Northwestern Oklahoma State University.  "Smith was chosen for his wealth of  experience in both athletic and academic administration,"  Said Dr. Carrocci, Newman University President.  Congratulations, Dr. Smith!
