Golden Hearts Club
The Golden Heart Club was established by the Board of Trustees and the Alumni Association of the university to recognize the loyalty and service of alumni of 50 years or more.
Graduates of Sacred Heart Academy and Sacred Heart College are honored annually in the spring at festivities to mark their induction into the Golden Hearts Club upon reaching the 50-year anniversary milestone. This year's classes are the Sacred Heart Academy Class of '58 and the Sacred Heart College Class of '58.
The Newman University Alumni Association is organized to support the continued growth and development of Newman University and its alumni. Regular Members of the Association are those persons who received a diploma from Sacred Heart Academy and those persons holding a degree from Sacred Heart Junior College, Sacred Heart College, Kansas Newman College or Newman University. Persons who have complete at least twenty-four (24) college credits in any of the Institutions named are also welcomed as Association members on request.

Sacred Heart Academy Graduates from the Class of 1958 sample mimosas while planning Golden Heart Reunion activities. Pictured Left to Right are planning committee members Patricia (Simon) McHenry, Carol "Cookie" (Menges) Henderson, Ida (Moos) Koehler and Phyllis "Shorty" Berens.
