The Jets for Life Club is a pro-life club that strives to promote the dignity of those lives that are most vulnerable in today’s world. A meeting and events are hosted each month of the school year that focus on the elderly, pre-born babies, those imprisoned, and/or those with special needs.
All are welcome to meetings and events, including students, faculty, staff of Newman University and students from other colleges. The meetings usually last about an hour and the content has included discussions, videos, prayer services, and games. Snacks and drinks are provided and usually about 20-25 people attend the meetings.
Each month, a different activity is offered. Some events the club has hosted include riding horses with the Association for Retarded Citizens, prayer services at the abortion clinic, video nights, visits with the elderly, and basketball tournaments.
Come and see what it truly means to be pro-life. |
