Financial Aid Checklist  
Have you completed the Financial Aid process?
Have you:
  • Completed the admissions process? (see below)
  • Applied for your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) pin?
    • Click here to apply for a pin that you will use to electronically sign your FAFSA
    • Dependent Students: Both you and a parent whose information will be listed on your FAFSA, will need to apply for a pinNU Students
  • Submitted the Free Application for Federal Student Aid?
    • Click here to submit a FAFSA online
    • Be sure to include Newman University's school code - 001939
    • Please note: There will no longer be a renewal FAFSA mailed out to students
  • Submitted requested documents?
  • Received your initial award letter detailing the types and amounts of financial aid that you are eligible for?
  • Signed and returned your award letter?
  • Completed necessary loan documents?
Have you completed the Admissions process? (New students only)
Have you:
  • Completed the Application for Admission?
  • Paid the application fee?
  • Requested an official high school transcript or GED results be sent to the Newman University Admissions Office?
  • Requested official copies of all post-secondary transcripts?
  • Supplied ACT/SAT scores, if applicable?
Have you completed the Enrollment process?
Have you:
  • Made an appointment with your academic advisor to develop a class schedule (returning students)?
  • Contacted Admissions to sign up for an enrollment day (new students only)?
  • Registered for classes in the Registrar's Office?
  • Finalized payment arrangements?
