The Career Resource Center has many materials available to assist you in deciding on a career and developing a career plan. The Career Library is currently located next to the Hanger on the 3rd floor of Sacred Heart Hall and college/university information is located in Room 302. Following is a list of some of the materials available: Occupational Outlook Handbook Local and national company directories Internship and cooperative education opportunities Graduate school catalogs Resume development materials – from the basic of how to begin through career specific resumes and cover letter examples Job books – area companies and organizations list current full and part time job vacancies with our office. A partial list of open positions is published and posted weekly at various locations on campus, as well as on our web page. Additionally a variety of volumes on topics ranging from specific job titles, networking, choosing your college major and self-help books are available and are continually updated. Be sure to also check out materials which are free, such as job search handouts, Job Choices magazines, etc.
