Interactive Plagiarism Introduction

Welcome to Newman University! As a part of Newman’s learning community, you are expected to exercise academic integrity in all your courses. This tutorial is designed to help you understand and identify plagiarism so that you can avoid it. As you proceed through the tutorial, you will:

  1. Take a pre-test to determine what you already know about plagiarism
  2. Learn about academic integrity policies at Newman University
  3. Practice recognizing plagiarism when you see it
  4. Take a post-test to show what you have learned during the tutorial
  5. Obtain a certificate to demonstrate that you are able to identify plagiarism

You can use the menu at the left to move through the tutorial or pick up in the middle if you’re not able to complete it all at once.
