The following are suggested course sequences; the first includes the study abroad option and the second does not.
Suggested course sequence including study abroad:
First year:
Fall: SPAN 1014 (as needed)
Spring: SPAN 1024 (as needed)
Summer: Spanish Study Abroad Program
SPAN 2013 (Intermediate Spanish I)
SPAN 2043 (Intermediate Conversation)
SPAN 3881 (Field Experience: International option)
Second year:
Fall: SPAN 2053 Spanish Readings
Spring: Spanish Civilization and Culture
Third or Fourth year:
Optional re-enrollment in SPAN 3881, Field Experience: local option
The above sequence is flexible, allowing study abroad to occur in later summers.
