Kelly McFall is Associate Professor of History at Newman University and teaches Modern European and World History classes. He received his doctorate from Ohio State University in 1998 and joined Newman in the summer of 2005. His professional interests lie in the history of nationalism, the experience of warfare, and comparative genocides (despite the ways this sounds, he's really not a depressing guy!).

He brings these interests to his classroom by teaching classes such as the History of Nationalism, World War Two, East Asia and The Holocaust, as well as taking students to Europe. In his spare time, when he is not rooting for the Ohio State football team or the Cleveland Indians, you can usually find him running on one of the side streets of Wichita or taking his daughter to see the rhinos and gorillas at the Zoo.
