Professor Findling earned his masters and Ph.D. degrees from Villanova University, and has taught at Newman since 2003. He has published articles and a translation in the areas of Ancient philosophy and contemporary Continental philosophy, with a special emphasis on Hans Georg Gadamer and philosophical hermeneutics. Findling is a co-founder of the North American Society for Philosophical Hermeneutics (NASPH). He teaches a variety of courses including Vital Issues of Philosophy, Ethics, History of AncientPhilosophy, Aesthetics, Philosophy of Film, and Philosophy of the Human Person.

Professor Fox received his masters and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Memphis. Since arriving at Newman in 2004, he has published articles and translations in areas related to contemporary Continental philosophy, Hegel, globalization, and the philosophy of religion. He is the 2006-07 recipient of the Newman University Teaching Excellence Award. In addition to Vital Issue of Philosophy and Ethics, Fox also teaches God and Cosmos, Social and Political Philosophy, History of Modern Philosophy, and Existentialism.
