The major in theology offered at Newman University requires 45-47 total credit hours including:
THEO 1033 Introduction to Scripture or
THEO 1003 Introduction to the Old Testament or
THEO 1013 Introduction to the New Testament
THEO 2033 Church and Sacraments
THEO 4123 Trinity and Incarnation
THEO 4133 Vatican II
PHIL 3000 or above (beyond Core requirements)
THEO 4703 Senior Thesis
Foreign Language—6-8 hours, college level, in the same language
