Newman University Student Research Opportunites
Multiple elements of biology are found throughout industries in the Wichita area. Within these industries are numerous opportunities for you to gain practical experience and establish professional relationships that will be beneficial to you in the future.
Research and cooperative education opportunities at various locations in the Wichita area are available for you during your senior year. Experiences such as these are designed to develop your awareness of science and how it relates to the work world. All bachelor of science in biology students complete a semester of research. Students also present their research papers at the annual meeting of the Kansas Academy of Science. The papers are later published.
