Professor Vogt is the senior ranking faculty member, former Division Chair, and past interim Dean of the School of Business at NU. He earned his baccalaureate degree from Emporia State University and his graduate degree from Kansas State University, both in mathematics. He has held every major office in the Faculty Senate, including president, and is currently serving the institution on the Faculty Evaluation Committee. Vogt is a member of the Mathematical Association of America, Kansas State Teachers of Mathematics and the Consortium for Computing in Small Colleges.

Professor Sponsel earned her B.A. in Secondary Education of Mathematics and her M.S. in Mathematics from Wichita State University. She is currently completing her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, Mathematics Education, at Kansas State University. Sponsel joined Newman University in 1999 and has regularly taught classes ranging from basic algebra to calculus. She also teaches a mathematics methods course for secondary education majors. In the community, Sponsel lends her talent and training to St. Peter's School in Schulte where she is a MATHCOUNTS coach for middle school students. Outside of work, she spends time with her family and enjoys activities such as horseback riding and volleyball.

Professor Steiner holds a master's degree in mathematics from the University of Kansas, where she received the Florence Black Teaching Award, and a Ph.D. in adult education from Kansas State University. Her professional experience includes several years as a statistician with the Sedgwick County Appraiser's Office and in private practice. In addition, Steiner has conducted numerous seminarson the use of statistics in real estate appraisals. Since 2004, she has directed a summer institute, “Women Xploring Mathematics and Science”, for high school women in the Wichita area. Her academic interests include statistical modeling, mathematics teaching, and outreach programs. Steiner is a member of MAA and ASA.

Professor Fitzgerald earned baccalaureate and masters degrees in mathematics from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany and doctorate in Mathematics Education at Oklahoma State University. He is former Chair of the Mathematics & Computer Science department at Newman.
