Counseling Curriculum  
NU StudentThe bachelor of science degree in counseling is often accompanied by a minor or a double major with sociology, psychology, communications or theology. The counseling degree is supported by coursework in sociology and psychology, and the individual career needs of the student can be fulfilled by utilizing courses from other disciplines.

Students must earn a minimum of 124 credit hours for graduation. Upon completion of the general education requirements, the bachelor of science in counseling includes 64 – 66 hours. Please consult the NU Catalog for specific class selections and further details.
