The need for organizations to incorporate existing and future technologies in order to remain comp-etitive has become a more pressing issue over the past several years. For this reason Newman University offers a bachelor of science, associate of science, and a minor in Information Technology (IT). These degrees prepare a graduate to take on a variety of IT roles relating to local area networking, network management, computer systems administration, user support applications programming, Web site development and administration, database programming, and database management. A graduate will also be prepared to enter an advanced degree program.
