Management Information Systems Curriculum
Students must earn a minimum of 124 credit hours for graduation, 64 hours of which are requirements for the major.

Internships are available for students during their junior and senior years. Experiences such as these, combined with case studies, develop the student’s awareness of today’s complex business world.

The MIS major prepares graduates for a variety of positions within an information systems department.

Graduates will be prepared to be lifelong learners, equipped to utilize both current technology and future advances in the field of information technology. This degree program has been aligned to meet the needs of the industry.

A graduate will also be prepared to enter an advanced degree program. According to the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA), 92 percent of IT workers work for non-IT companies.
