M.S.Ed. Curriculum & Instruction - Accountability
Accountability is a major concern for accredited and for non-traditional educational programs. There is a high demand for individuals who have the skills and understandings that are required to provide leadership for accountability and accreditation procedures. Emphasis is placed on application and alignment of the study program with the requirements of Kansas QPA and other recognized quality improvement systems. Newman’s program for Accountability is designed to develop these skills through an innovative flexible delivery course system.
The Program
The C&I/Accountability degree concentration is a 33 credit hour program that is designed to provide the insights, skills, and methods needed for leadership in the accountability/accreditation process for schools and non-traditional educational settings. The program can serve the needs of teachers in K-12 accredited schools and individuals whose primary interests are in adult education, staff development or non-traditional educational settings.

The program is particularly useful for individuals who are making applications of the continuous improvement model to educational settings.
