Newman University is a Catholic, liberal arts University sponsored by the Adorers of the Blood of Christ. The University is named after Church leader and educator, John Henry Cardinal Newman, and its primary focus is educating for life. NU provides students the knowledge and skill to succeed personally and professionally, and nurtures an ethical and moral standard rooted in Judeo-Christian principles, by which they can set goals, make decisions and establish relationships. NU is committed to the belief that the spiritual nature of all persons can and should influence all aspects of life and, therefore, is an important factor in the improvement of our technological society.
The University, through its curriculum and supporting environment, challenges its students to become liberally educated persons who will:

Primary clinical sites for the NU MSNA Program are located in Wichita, Kan. including:
- Via Christi-St. Francis Campus
- Wesley Medical Center
- Kansas Surgery and Recovery
- Wichita Clinic
- Kansas Medical Center
- Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital
In addition, a new primary clinical site is being developed in Oklahoma City, Okla. with expected implementation of August 2007.
Non-primary enrichment clinical sites are also available in Kan.:

- Salina
- Hays
- Garden City
- Dodge City
