The Nurse Anesthesia Application Process  
Your application will be considered complete when nine components have been received.
  1. Newman University graduate application form (PDF 32 KB)
  2. Application fee - $25.00
    1. $40.00 for international students
  3. Nurse Anesthesia application form (PDF 255 KB)
  4. Personal statement (PDF 17 KB)
    1. on required form
  5. Three letters of recommendation (PDF 77KB)
    1. on required form only
  6. Copies of nursing license(s)
    1. ACLS and PALS accreditation
  7. Resume
The above seven components should be collected and mailed together in one packet to this address:Newman University

Also necessary for admission:
  1. Official sealed transcript from previous colleges/universities
    1. These may be submitted with your application packet as long as they reach us with their original seals and stamps unbroken
    2. Or they may be sent by the schools directly to the Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia Program at the address mentioned above
  2. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores sent directly from the Educational testing Service to the address mentioned above.
    1. The NU GRE code is 6615
Incoming application packets will be returned to the applicant for completion.
The only items may arrive separately are:

  • Transcript
  • GRE scores

Admission to the nurse anesthesia program is on a competitive basis and requires an interview with the admissions committee. In order to be considered to the next class, all application materials, including transcripts and GRE scores must be received at the University on or before December 1 of the year prior to the year for which you are applying.
