Stucky, in addition to directing the OTA Program, has recently enjoyed serving as Fieldwork Educator for the Breakthrough Club here in Wichita. Some members of a recent OT class have been doing psychosocial internships there. He is a native of rural Moundridge, Kan., and enjoys gardening, long walks, and playing the accordion. In Fall of 2005, he completed a survey of OT staffing needs in Kansas, and is currently working with other staff and faculty to develop Newman's new two-year (Associate of Science) Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) program.
Stucky has been teaching OT since 1994, and joined Newman’s OT Program as a full time instructor in 1998. He is always interested in answering questions that prospective students may have about choosing a career in the health sciences, about the occupational therapy profession, and about the new OTA Program at NU. |

Bannister joined Newman University in February 2004. As the program assistant, she works with students and faculty members, helping wherever needed. Bannister is currently attending the MBA program at Newman University. She enjoys spending time with animals and has four precious cats and some fish of her own. Dahlinger joined Newman University part time in July 2001. As the fieldwork coordinator, she works with students and fieldwork supervisors during the clinical education phase of the program. She enjoys working with great clinical instructors in over 80 facilities located all across the nation and especially enjoys site visits. Dahlinger has extensive background in a variety of settings (hospitals, schools, private practice) and has worked in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Arkansas and Kansas. She is a member of Kansas Occupational Therapy Association (KOTA), American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and is actively registered with National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT). She enjoys watercolor painting, reading, movies and volunteering at church. |
