| "The graduate social work program at Newman University provides an expert faculty with knowledge and experience in family-centered practice. Students are considered assets at Newman, and the social work faculty is invested in providing a quality education that will enhance each graduate's personal and professional goals." -- Leslie Jensby (MSW, 2003) |
The Newman MSW Program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Newman offers both the traditional two year MSW program and an Advanced Standing program for students who have already earned a bachelor of social work degree from a CSWE accredited program. Those students who qualify for the Advanced Standing Program can earn the MSW degree in one year as a full-time student or in two years as a part-time student.
