Course Information
- What kind of courses can I take?
- Only specific high school courses approved for credit through Newman University's Advanced Standing Committee are acceptable for enrollment.
- Check with the Newman representative who comes to your school or ask your high school counselor.
- Courses are offered at the following Wichita area high schools: Andale, Bishop Carroll, Clearwater, Derby, Kapaun Mt. Carmel, Maize, North, Trinity Academy and through the St. Gianna Health Academy.
Dropping Courses
- I'm no longer taking these courses at my high school. How do I drop them with Newman?
- You may withdraw from the courses by sending a letter to the Registrar's Office at NU.
- Check the deadline date found in your information packet.
- If you do not inform the Registrar's Office you may receive a failing grade in the course.
Grades
- How can my parents see my grades? Can they get a copy of my transcript for me?
- Only the student may obtain his/her academic records. We will release the academic record with written permission from the student only.
- How do I get my grades?
- The Registrar's Office no longer mails grade cards to students.
- You can look at your grades on JetStream.
