Daniel Bryan Sponsored by Campus Ministry Daniel has been a member of Campus Ministry and the Student Ambassadors for three years. He has attended two service learning trips to Mexico and one to Louisiana. Daniel has been a T&T Facilitator for a year. He has also worked on the Diocese of Wichita retreat team for three years. He is originally from Tulsa, Okla. and will be graduating in May with a degree in theology. Daniel is also an ASC Community Leader Scholar.

Clare Ewald Sponsored by Academic & Student Services Clare is a four year member of the Women’s Soccer Team for NU. During her time at Newman, she has been very involved on campus including being an Ambassador, a T&T Facilitator, and a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Clare works in Student Support Services as well as the Athletic Training Room.

Men

	Caleb Fine Sponsored by the Men’s Basketball Caleb is a 22 year old Newman student from Park City, Utah. He has one older brother and one younger sister. Caleb will be graduating in May with a degree in business management. He is a member of the Jets Men’s Basketball Team. In his spare time, Caleb enjoys skiing and boating.
	Emmanuel Gutierrez Sponsored by the Student Government Association Emmanuel (El Porterito) is from Brownsville, Texas, near the border of Mexico. Emmanuel is a goal keeper for the Men’s Soccer Team at NU. He will be graduating with a degree in criminal justice in May 2009. He also loves tacos!
	Michael Ludlow Sponsored by the Ambassadors Michael is a senior double majoring in management and finance. He played basketball for three years at NU. Michael’s favorite movie is Billy Madison, and he enjoys long walks on the beach and his favorite food is ice cream.
	Andre Marshall Sponsored by Residence Life Andre is a senior sociology major from Albequerque, N.M. He loves Newman and has been working with Residence Life for three years. He is getting married in May and is looking forward to starting a career in law enforcement or graduate school in higher education administration.

Women

	Lisa Farmer Sponsored by the Pre-Med Club This is Lisa’s fifth year at Newman as a biology major. She has been very active in the Pre-Med Club. Lisa is a theatre minor, is a member of the Theatre Troupe, and is the President of the Health Professionals Club.
	Amy Gensweider Sponsored by the Ambassadors Amy is a senior, greatly anticipating graduating in May. Amy is planning on pursuing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri in Kansas City this fall. Although spare time is a luxury, she enjoys painting, drawing, reading, hanging out with friends and family, and volunteering.
	Dajana Komadina Sponsored by the Multicultural Leadership Organization Dajana is an international student from Kroatia. She has been involved in many organizations while at Newman, including: Multicultural Leadership Organization, Campus Activities Board, and Campus Ministry. Dajana is graduating with a degree in biology. She is very excited to start optometry school in the fall at the University of Houston College of Optometry, but is very sad to leave Newman – her home away from home!
	Cassandra McCullough Sponsored by Campus Ministry Cassandra is a biochemistry major as well as Student Minister at Newman. She is also a Scholar in Rural Health through the University of Kansas School of Medicine where she will be attending medical school in the fall of 2008. She is very involved in the Pre-Med Club as well as Campus Ministry. Cassandra loves going on service trips, especially to Guaymas, Mexico; March for Life in D.C.; KCCSC; R-Cubed and Katrina relief efforts in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. In her spare time, she enjoys wakeboarding and knee boarding, playing volleyball, Wednesday nights at La Mesa and definitely writing and giving those R-Cubed speeches. Cassandra also enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as growing her faith and sharing it with others.
	Christy Pestel Sponsored by the Student Government Association Christy is from Tulsa, Okla. She is a member of the Jets Bowling Team, and is also your current secretary/treasurer for the Student Government Association. Christy is involved in many clubs on campus including: Health Professionals Club, the Communciations Club and Superfans. She enjoys horseback riding on the beach and hunting.
	Amanda Stanley Sponsored by Residence Life Amanda is a senior biology major. She has worked with Residence Life for three years. She has participated in three service learning trips to Guaymas, Mexico. She is getting married in May and will be starting medical school at Kansas University in July.
