Coaches and Players,

We are looking forward to hosting our 10th year of summer basketball here at Newman University. It should be an exciting summer with the change allowing high school coaches to work with their teams! 

The league will run from May 26th through June 25th.  Games will be played Monday through Thursday in the evenings.  Teams will play two games per week with a minimum of 10 total games. 

Even if you enter a team, please make sure that each player returns an individual form as well and has paid in full prior to the first game played (these are NCAA requirements!).  As long as the applications are in by Thursday, May 14th I believe I can get things put together. There will also be a short meeting in which each team should be represented May 14 at 7 p.m. in O’Shaughnessy Hall.  If you cannot make the meeting, simply contact me. 

Our hope is that this league will aid you in your development as an individual player and of your team and program. If nothing else, the added opportunity to play together in a structured environment should help the young men develop chemistry and provide them with an enjoyable basketball experience. At the same time, it gives coaches an additional chance to evaluate and develop your players.
