Donor Advised Funds and Endowments

Scholarships have a direct impact on future generations. Newman University accepts gifts to establish endowed scholarship funds to be administered according to policies approved by the Board of Trustees. Donors have up to five years to reach the minimum principal amount of $15,000 as required to name an endowment. Newman University assumes the responsibility of investing these funds and keeping financial and award records. Newman University maintains the endowment funds in perpetuity and makes the net income available on a regular basis to be distributed according to the University spending policy.
