The Newman University Board of Trustees elected two new members at its May 22 meeting: Larry Schumacher, president and CEO of Via Christi Wichita Health Network and senior vice president of Via Christi Health System, and Doug Stanley, Managing Partner of Foulston Siefkin Law Firm. Newman University Students Chosen for All Expenses Paid Pre-MBA Program

Newman University students Alana Prahm and Vanessa Rivas of Wichita, Kan., were two out of 50 students from across the nation who have been chosen for an all-expenses paid program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Prahm and Rivas will attend the first-ever National Society of Hispanic MBAs' (NSHMBA) Pre-MBA Program, hosted at MIT June 22-25.
