Newman University Offers Associate of Science Occupational Therapy Assistant Degree

Newman University will offer a two-year Associate of Science Occupational Therapy Assistant degree beginning in the spring of 2007. The development of this program will make Newman the only university in Kansas and Nebraska to offer an occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program.

Newman University Board of Trustees and senior officials announced today that the institution has been formally accepted as a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level. The university will become part of the Heartland Conference beginning with the fall 2006 season.
