High School Students from Kansas, Italy Attend Newman University Hosts Investigative Summer Science Program Thursday, August 31, 2006 (201 reads)
Over the past 16 years, Newman University's Investigative Summer Science Program (ISSP) has helped hundreds of American high school students discover the benefits of a career in science. Since 2004, the program has even extended its reach beyond America to Italy. This summer, 16 students from 13 Kansas high schools and four students from Viterbo, Italy attended the 2006 ISSP. For two weeks the selected high school juniors and seniors interested in science gained a unique scholarly experience. Read More |

Newman University Names Tom Borrego Vice President for Advancement Friday, August 25, 2006 (230 reads)
Thomas (Tom) E. Borrego, has been named vice president for Institutional Advancement at Newman University. Borrego will officially join the institution Sept. 5. Since 1999, he has served as vice president of development for Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America, a system of 17 retirement communities located in Kansas and Missouri. Read More |

Newman University to Build New Housing for 2007 Academic Year Wednesday, August 09, 2006 (173 reads)
Newman University officials have announced approval for new student housing to be constructed during the 2006-2007 academic year. The Newman University Board of Trustees and the University's founders and sponsors, the Adorers of the Blood of Christ (ASC), have given approval to move forward on a residential village. Read More |
