Newman University Bids Farewell To Former President Father Roman Galiardi Tuesday, November 28, 2006 (155 reads)
Members of the Newman University community are mourning the loss of Father Roman Galiardi, O.S.B., the sixth president of Newman predecessor institutions Sacred Heart College and Kansas Newman College. Father Galiardi, who served as president from 1971 to 1982, passed away Nov. 26, 2006 at his residence in St. Procopius Abbey in Lisle, Ill., following a battle with cancer. Read More |

Newman University offers Fine Arts patrons a delightful weekend of theatre and vocal music performances beginning this Friday, Dec. 1. Theatre students will present "An Evening of Student Shows," a fun-filled night of comedy created by theatre students at Newman University featuring performances on Friday, Dec. 1, and Saturday, Dec. 2.
