'Focus on the Basics' (Basic/Intermediate and Advanced)

June 23 - 26

Basic/Intermediate Camp

Volleyball Camps

  • 9 a.m. - Noon
  • For those entering grades 4 - 6
  • Bring water and knee pads!

What Will I Learn?
Covers fundamental skills including passing, setting, serving and hitting.

Advanced Camp and League

  • 1 - 4 p.m.
  • For those entering grades 7 - 8
  • Bring water and knee pads!

What Will I Learn?
Focuses on fundamental and advanced skills, plus a tournament style format with contests and team play. Participants may request teammates.

Campers will learn offensive rotations and defensive skills that will be incorporated in game situations.

High School Skills Camp

July 7 - 9

All high school athletes entering grades 9-12 are encouraged to participate in preparation for the fall season.

Form

  • Setters will learn to improve upon footwork, quickness and set variety.
  • Hitters and blockers will focus on improving their approach and arm swing, practicing a variety of sets and plays. Emphasis will also be placed on correct blocking footwork, form and hand penetration.
  • Liberos and defensive specialists will get many repetitions on digging and serve receiving in different defensive systems.
  • Serving Work on aggressive serving in rally score with a variety of serving techniques.
  • Game play will help athletes put their skills to work in game situations and experiment with new techniques and systems.
  • Leadership and team building skills will be encouraged throughout the camp.
