Dixie L. Knauss '66

Dixie L. Knauss, 86, passed away at her Newton home on December  13, 2011. A Wichita native Dixie went to East High School and continued her education at Sacred Heart College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in medical technology.  Dixie worked at St. Francis Hospital as a medical technologist and taught in the in the School of Medical Technology.  She is survived by her husband Cliff; sons, John, Jeffery (Mary Angela), Douglass (Debbie), Clifford (Annette); daughter-in-law, Dee Knauss Lemons; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother; Jack (Irene) Marley.
