Interview Process

Now that you’ve decided that you want to explore career opportunities with Newman University, what’s the next step?

Staff and Faculty

Applications, curricula vitae and resumés for faculty and staff positions are forwarded to the appropriate hiring supervisor or selection committee for review.

Applicants who are selected for an interview will interview with the hiring supervisor, selection committee, and other necessary department personnel.

All applicants applying for an open position will be notified of their status.

Students

Student Employment is operated through Human Resources. Students who qualify for work-study funds are eligible to apply for campus-based positions, posted on the Student Employment Bulletin Board (North end of Sacred Heart Hall, main floor) and posted on the Newman HR Web site.

NU Students

Applications for student employment are available in Human Resources, Room 202, Sacred Heart Hall. To be considered, complete a student employment application for each position you are interested in, attach your class schedule and leave with the Human Resources Office.

The student employment coordinator forwards all eligible applications to the hiring manager. You will be contacted by the hiring manager for an interview. You will also be notified by that manager if you are selected for the job.
