The Newman University women’s soccer team (6-10-3, 3-6-3 Heartland Conf.) notched a 2-0 shutout of Texas-Permian Basin (7-10-2, 5-7-0 Heartland Conf.) on Senior Day Sunday afternoon at Wilkins Field. Goalkeeper Jennifer Davis (Amarillo, Texas) capped her decorated career with five saves and the clean sheet. She was one of three seniors, along with Brittany Gaylord (Derby, Kan.) and Clare Ewald (Wichita, Kan.), to play her final match for the Jets.

The Newman University women’s soccer team (5-10-3, 2-6-3 Heartland Conf.) led for nearly the entire match before Dallas Baptist (5-12-1, 3-8-1 Heartland Conf.) scored two goals in the final three minutes to sneak past the Jets 2-1 Friday night at Wilkins Field.

The Newman University women’s soccer team (4-8-3, 1-4-3 Heartland Conf.) ran into the nationally ranked University of Incarnate Word (14-1-1, 8-0-0 Heartland Conf. ) Cardinals and dropped a 2-0 decision Sunday afternoon at Wilkins Field. It was the 14th consecutive win for UIW, which entered the weekend’s action ranked No. 8 in the NSCAA national poll.
