Newman Jets Men's Basketball Boys Summer Hoop League 2008
Coaches and Players,
We are looking forward to hosting our 9th year of summer basketball here at Newman University. The league will run from May 27 - June 26. Games will be played Monday through Thursday in the evenings. Teams will play two games per week with a minimum of 10 games total.
You can find both individual and team sign-up sheets by following the links at the bottom of the page. Even if you enter a team, please make sure that each player returns an individual form as well and has paid in full previous to the first game played. Applications need to be in by Tuesday, May 13th. Of course, the earlier the better. There will also be a short meeting in which each team should be represented May 15 at 7 p.m. in O’Shaughnessy Hall.
Our hope is that this league will aid you in the development of your team and program. If nothing else, the added opportunity to play together in a structured environment should help the young men develop chemistry and provide them with an enjoyable basketball experience. For individuals, it is a chance to play against quality competition and work on your individual and team basketball skills.
