MSNA Program Goals and Outcomes

The MSNA will prepare the graduate to:

  1. Synthesize knowledge and apply scientific and scholarly inquiry, analytical reasoning and decision making in the delivery of anesthesia
  2. Assume an advanced role on the health care team as a CRNA
  3. Demonstrate oral and written communication skills inherent in advanced practice
  4. Analyze health promotion activities and health outcomes
  5. Incorporate those moral principles that have universal objective validity in advanced practice

Graduate Studies Goals and Outcomes

The division of Graduate Studies is dedicated to educating professionals who will assume leadership positions in their disciplines and who are able to:

  1. Analyze critical issues within the context of the discipline to implement creative and effective solutions
  2. Demonstrate oral and written communication skills inherent in advanced practice
  3. Incorporate an understanding of Judeo-Christian values and their implications within diverse settings
  4. Assimilate scholarly inquiry into decision-making
