Welcome to Clay

Working with raw clay is a very personal, therapeutic and sometimes powerful experience. Clay requires hands, body, and spirit to be in harmony with one another in a discipline that allows you to loose yourself in the rhythm of the wheel and the feel of the clay. The language of clay is a metaphor for understanding life. Our clay emphasis introduces you to the process of low-fire, high-fire, and raku. Whether you are pursuing a study of hand-building or throwing, you will learn how to work through a complete process, from concept to professional work of art.
