Journalism

The journalism minor utilizes professional journalists as faculty to insure that students are receiving cutting-edge training. In addition to traditional coursework, students pursing the journalism minor work on The Vantage, Newman University's student newspaper. If you are interested in journalism as a career, your work for the The Vantage can open doors to internships at newspapers and broadcast stations and can help you build the experience you'll need to become a professional journalist.
